Beautiful lake and a beautiful market. A trip on a boat across the lake is recommended. Booking ahead is a must.

One of the best lakes that I have been to. The boat ride with the story enroute takes you completely in. You have the possibility to get off at a couple of points and then walk around. Is my third visit already. Awesome stuff!!

One of the most exciting land scape in Germany. Take the boat tour early to avoid long waiting lines on your return. It's enough to visit the first stop unless you're willing to walk around in the wonderful nature for few hours.

If you go to Königssee I would recommend you get the boat all the way to Salet and hike to Obersee. We arrived at around 11am and the carpark was already busy. We paid €5 to park all day. There is a change machine over...More

If you have taken the boat back across Konigsee, then walk through the tourist shops towards the parking lot and bus stop. Taxis are waiting in this area during the day.
