You're going to get wet anyway, so why not? Flattish hike with tunnels, and waterfalls, the water loudly rushing through the gorge. I would suggest wearing shorts, sandals, and a rain poncho if it's warm enough. Pants and shoes were soaked all the way down...More

There are several ways to get there, I took the second easiest because I have limited mobility. Took the Eckbauerbahn to the top of the Eckbauer (you can actually take another one much closer to the Klamm - check at the Information at the Olympic...More

It's a bit of a walk to get here from any parkplatz, but the walk through the gorge is easy. Water drips on you at various places, but you'll stay mostly dry. It's beautiful, as is the area behind the gorge.

We walked the gorge up and back and loved it. It can be a tad intimidating as the path is narrow and sometimes crowded, I wouldn't bring small children or those with walking issues. It can be slippery so wear sneakers or hiking boots. Once...More

My wife and I visited the Partnachklamm on a beautiful Saturday in July. There are many highlights on this hike that make it a really cool and rewarding activity including the Olympic Stadium, the canyon itself, and the great alpine scenery. But there are a...More

This is a must do. I went in summer. Wet, roaring water, loud, rocky, tight spaces, two way traffic along side roaring mountain runoff water...... You get pretty high up so it's not for everyone. The walk up the hill to get to the entrance...More

Combined trip with visit to Olympic stadium. Very impressive path through gorge, cutting through rock in many places, amazingly flat. We were lucky there were not too many people, as some parts are a little too narrow for two people to cross easily. Some good...More

This is a must when you are in Garmisch! A fantastic gorge! Then walk up to Eckbauer. Took us 90 min when we came out of the gorge. From 780 m -->1236 m. Steep climb but Totally worth it. Bring water to drink! When you...More

Really interesting and amazing views of rocks and gorge. Lot of walking along narrow paths but there's a railing for safety. Was incredible!

I have been to this place twice, but this last time I truly realized how amazing it is. To be honest, it is going to be hard to accurately and justifiably describe it in words, but I’ll just say this: Go. Don’t miss it if...More

There is a lift we took back down after hiking up. It goes up and down from the entrance to the gorge. The top station is from the spa hotel (can't remember the name) it's about 40 minutes hike after you walk through the... More

Not recommended - both have a lot of walking and are over an hour apart. Unless you are an alpine speed walker I don't think it would be an enjoyable day - if you had to do one or the other I would do the castles - there... More

Horse drawn carriage will get you very close to the falls. Limited Mobility? The walk into the falls is very close and cramped. Good luck.
