Better to visit is warmer weather, however, we had fun kicking the leaves and having hot chocolate during our November walk. Interesting to find surfers riding the waves at the end of the gardens, check it out on Youtube

The English Garden is stunning. Lots of things to see and do. My 22 months old son loved the playground and kicking the autumn leaves. Make sure you check out the surfers!

Really huge park thats maybe a 15 minute walk from Marienplatz? Reminded me quite a bit of Central Park in NY in size and scope. Loved here the stream running through the middle. I was here in October so a bit cold but can imagine a great picnic here.

Tiny little Christmas market with a lovely festive feel to it. Wooden cabins, lights in the trees, santas grotto, curling, food and gift stands.

That's a beautiful place to enjoy when the weather is good. You can spend hours walking and enjoying the beautiful view. Created in the 18th century, it saved its charm till today. a beautiful place for a romantic walk.

I visited at the beginning of November and, despite the cold weather, it was amazing. I went at sunset and the autumnal colours were beautiful. I went back again the next day just for a walk. It was peaceful, there was a small place to get some food located in the park, there's plenty of space to just lost and... More

I love this park. It is huge and a great place to take a bike, you can rent one for a great price at the train station. There is beer gardens, snack stands, so you won't go hungry. This is a great place for people watching too. You got the surfers and the trails. The Chinese tower is pretty cool.... More

it is a big park, very well organized, and good for relaxing in the nature. Reading beneath a tree is an excellent idea. restaurants in the area are goog. and the English Garden is easy to reach by public transportation.
