Very popular scenic park, more internaitonal than its name would suggest, it contains a Greek temple, Chinese pagoda and Japanese tea house.

Very nice city park in the center of Munich. Huge amount of space. We were there on a very hot, sunny day in June, with many people out for picnics. By far the oddest thing was the surfers in the river...it's a small part of...More

The garden is like a huge park and it offers great opporunities for outdoor activities and a well-spent time near the nature. You can't evaluate the true beauty of the city if you don't visit the garden. The most attractive thing is that you can...More

The English Garden is about 3 miles from Marienplatz. We rented bikes (about Euro 12/hour) and enjoyed the park, including having lunch at the cafeteria. Avoid holiday; most stores are closed. Difficult to find restaurant.

Can I fly my drone for recreational purpose here? I'll find the emptiest piece of grassland in the park, fly it within line of sight, below 120 meter, and I wont fly over buildings nor people. I'll be here by December
