One of the better markets visited in Germany so far. Even better (best) for the Christmas Market! Tons of shopping and tourist spots within this area.

My wife and I toured the marke during the Christmas Market season. At first is seemed that the entire population of of Nuremberg was there at once. But very much worth the time. Stalls of all kinds. More stalls for buying gifts than other Christmas Markets we visited.

Wonderful old Xmas markets in Nuremburg where gingerbread originated. Elisen lebkuchen & yummy food everywhere sweet or savoury. So much atmosphere you forget how cold it can be. Gluhwine can certainly fix that up! A wonderful experience. Don't forget to smell it all too!

This place is just overwhelming...probably because of the cold weather and the christmas spirit I felt last night. I bought a half-meter sausage with onion sauce and Glüwein...truly a must try when visiting 🇩🇪

Lots of booths with ornaments, toys, sweets, and gluhwein. You have to be careful not to buy the cheat ornaments, but you can quickly find out which ones those are. Lots of folks selling handmade ornaments, which is what we brought home.

The Old Town market is the place where the famous Christmas Market is being held. It is full with stands and be sure not to miss the Lebkuchen and the Gluhwein.

Best Christmas market ever, so organized, lively and easy to stroll in. Last Sunday night before Christmas is understandably crowded and we are lucky to have seen it on Sunday morning. The atmosphere from afternoon onwards is better with the band playing of course. You have to check it out at least once in your lifetime.

We were here predominantly for the Christmas Market which is the largest and oldest in Germany and definitely a don't mis thing. Great food, gluwein, and tons of stuff for Christmas shoping.

There are many stands selling rare variety of objects which are very difficult to find them elsewhere.
