The minute you enter this amazing church you are greeted by some of the most colourful frescoes I have seen, the ornate gilded candelabra’s are amazing as is the alter. It is best to sit down in a pew and take a few quiet moments...More

In this beautiful chapel you will see the height of Baroque decoration. The walls practically shimmer with all of the white columns and gilded decorative pieces. The paintings are equally beautiful. The church has been well maintained over the centuries. This is an excellent example...More

This is a beautiful chapel near the Dome. The shrine inside is outstanding. Lots of nice paintings and intrinsic gold plated sculptures. Well worth a visit.

Another beautiful German Cathedral. Amazing what craftsmen and artisans accomplished many years ago! Then to continue to exist centuries later.

Our walking tour of the city was very pleasant. Interesting features include towers of ancient fortress, the cathedral, and Shindler's house. There are countless nice shops in the this clean city. The city has a prosperous feel about it.

From a block away one could hear the St. Peter’s all boy choir practicing for their performance later on. Just sat quietly in the pew listening as the music soared. One could not walk straight up to the altar on this day, but one could...More

We walked to this from our River Cruise ship early on a Sunday morning. Absolutely stunning inside. Plain outside so you might not go in. Try to get there during a service as you can only look from the back of the church at other...More

This is a superb example of a baroque rococco church with fabulous roof and wall paintings. The only problem is that viewing is confined behind grilles and it is really difficult to see the wonderful organ and side chapels. There seemed little point in buying...More

It's open all day (7-7). You can't tour when Mass is happening. At lunch you can enter the chapel but you can't walk through it but you can take pictures through an iron gate.

Outside of service times, the church is only visible from behind a locked iron grille at the rear. It's still a splendid view, but only in one direction.
