This is an interesting statue near to the Rathaus. There is a plaque in German at the base of the statue providing further information. Do read up about the history of Don Juan. Great place to take photos also.

Wonderful statue located close to the town square. Seemed to be a local gathering spot, there were quite a few shops, cafes, and other attractions near by. Nice photo opportunity.

This is a really interesting monument in the center of the Old City, but it has no information available beyond the limited writing in German at its base.

Our guide kept us in suspense regarding the story of his conception and years growing up which makes it all the more interesting. Read up or ask a guide!

It is a good part of a historical tour, I recommend to go there with a guide or audioguide so you can enjoy the history related properly.

Interesting statue on a charming square of the Altstadt. The statue has grace even as it follows a classical model. The statue represents the victor of the Battle of Lepanto though it is not clear why it was erected in this city.
