As a housing community, this isn't a large tourist site. There's the opportunity to see a display residence, along with a WWII air-raid shelter. It's worth a visit if you're in Augsburg and have the time - we walked there easily and entry is €4...More

The Fuggerei is for a family maybe with older children as it has a bit of complicated history to it and for small kids can be quite boring. They offer guided tours in English but if you prefer you can wander around the little village....More

Once you read the back story, you quickly understand how brilliant this provision is. Modest housing near the city centre for the deserving. Worth a wander through

This is the oldest social settlement in the world and we did have a guide take us through it with interesting stories throughout. The museum is also interesting and you can see where Mozart's grandfather lived too. Definitely worth a visit when in Augsburg!

This neighbourhood is small, just a few streets connecting. Interesting because the museum is in a bunker. You can visit a modelhouse to get a real life impression of the proportions. It is cool to walk around. A nice to do.
