Great store! Even if you don't purchase anything, it is worth a look inside. It was fun to just browse and see what Christmas might be like in Germany. It makes me want to head back in December!

What an amazing shop. I don't really like Christmas shops out of season but this is an experience that makes you forget what time of year it is. The items are not cheap but they all look hand made and of good quality. Certainly look in and get ideas for next December. The Cuckoo Clock part of the shop displays... More

The shop is marvelous; but soooo incredibly popular, it's a squeeze to get around, and only as enjoyable as the courtesy of the other customers, which can be a challenge at Xmas time. This is a must-see if you are visiting Rothenburg

Perfect for an all year Christmas experience. The shop of 3 levels and the decorations are that wonderful that we enjoy both winter and summer stopover in this must visit for 1 hour. Note shop is free of charge (no photo's allowed) whilst for museum needs cover charge.

I have a thing for handmade wooden German Christmas items and I found exactly what I was looking for at Kathe Wohlfahrt. They have ornaments, pyramids, music boxes, nutcrackers, authentic Black Forest cuckoo clocks are more. I wanted to buy it all but we came away with a few ornaments, a music box and a cuckoo clock. The clock we... More

Everything is so beautiful, it is like a fairytale. We bought a lot of Christmas tree decorations. Can't wait to decorate the tree end of 2017. My favourite thing was the embroided tabel cloths in the back of the store. It is so stunning. Loved the trip to Rothenburg. A definite bucket list activity! So worth it.
