Very exciting place and it looks smaller but when you enter it is huge. There are thousands of toys for christmas trees and for fire place decoration...

I couldn't wait to see this museum and although it is very small and its visit doesn't take long I enjoyed it even more than I expected. It triggered memories for Christmas in past years and made me looking forward to the coming ones. I was very nicely surprised when I found there Father Frost, old Russian story I used... More

We toured the museum and besides being disappointed that you can't take pictures inside I very much enjoyed it. I simply was not aware that the Christmas tree tradition was begun in Germany. So interesting to see the first ornaments and what they were made out of as well as the addition of lights over time. It was very enjoyable... More

Feel Christmas the moment you see it from the outside. Interesting going in the store with plenty of items for sale and display. The store is big but with plenty of items it feels cramped. Quite difficult to move inside the store because there is a single lane to go around the store. It is perfect for a Christmas store... More

My wife and I visited the Christmas museum during our vacation to Rothenburg. The museum admission cost was very reasonable. There were so many historical displays and items. Everything was obviously well cared for. We speak very little German and had not problems asking questions if we had them as everyone working here seemed to be very fluent in English.... More

We went in out of curiosity. Rothenburg is a Christmas town, that was obvious. They call it a museum but it really is a massive christmas store with more christmas stuff than i have ever seen before. There were some beautiful hand blown glass balls, hand carved miniture christmas trees from wood and many more hand made objects. There was... More

Though the museum did go through the history of Christmas decorations, it was quite limited and disappointing. Many of the items appeared to have been donated by one family. It felt like a come on to actually visit the shop, which was amazing! That was worth the visit!

This museum is small but has a nice collection of old decorations. It only cost a couple euros to get in. We went right at opening so not many other people were there. The signage is all in English as well as German. It was a nice start to the day.

This is awesome. It has some of the Christmas items from long ago next to modern ones. Totally enjoyed it and the Christmas shops.

Very nicely displayed merchandise, quality Christmas decorations, great service from the staff. You feel like you fell into Christmas here. Everywhere you look.
