stroll on a beautyful bridge

Beautiful stone bridge that is closed for traffic makes for a great place to take pictures of the Mein River.

The location is fabulous, however the surrounding area is extremely populated, busy and loud. It is VERY central to everything in the main Wurzburg town.

The bridge is closed to traffic which makes it a fantastic walking area. From the bridge itself you have a great view of the fortress.

We walked across the bridge almost daily to get to the market. This bridge is old and among the best to see in Europe. There is always lots of people hanging out on the bridge. Great place to people watch. You see people having a picnic to enjoying a glass of wine with friends to people pass by.

Great tourist attraction with a twist. There were hundreds of people drinking wine and chatting. You basically pay for a glass and then get refills

It's a crime if you don't photograph yourself at the bruecke upon visiting the city. It's mostly crowded. Good place to be. The melting point of diversity.

Beautiful scenic bridge with historic statues. Bridge is closed to traffic, pedestrian only, stay off the middle and on the sidewalks to avoid being mowed down by determined bicyclists.

Full of people enjoying their hot wines. I strongly suggest you to watch big river boats when they are transferred to an upper level of the river.

We passed the bridge go and back to old town from our hotel. When get into the bridge, Dom is just in fron of us. Many people enjoy a glass of wine and some finger foods on it. Sometimes they block our walking pass.

This 14th century bridge is very similar to Prague's famous Charles bridge. It is the oldest bridge over the River Main but the real draw is the views of the Marienberg fortress and the Kappele. The bridge itself is noteworthy with the many statues of saints and pasts bishops of Wurzburg .
