A proper tourist attraction! Beatiful place, at night it lights up in a distinctive manner, really recommend going there when dark!

This is a must-see, U-bahn station right next to it, famous bullevard starting here (Unter den Linden), Jewish Memorial 2min walk from there, Reichstag visible. Interesting history background, nice photo background as well :)

You see it, its beautiful, take a picture and move on. There isn't a lot to the gate but a very helpful tourist information area is right there.

When we visited Coca Cola hoardings were covering much of the building. What should have been historic and imposing looked merely trashy.

If you go to Berlin you must visit the Brandenburg Gate. Lots of places to eat and drink nearby The monument itself has several multi lingual information boards explaining the history of the Brandenburg gate from its building through to the present.

Seeing Brandenburg Gate was a long time on my bucket list. It's really amazing, and we went there a few times. The most amazing view is definitely at night because of all those lights ...just wonderful.

city's most expensive places to live. It is here the
oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence
of some significant transformations, as well. The
gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets
between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given

It looks like Easter is a great time to visit Germany, since Easter is one of their most celebrated holidays. Many events and special markets and decorations. I wouldn't worry about that.
