What an experience to stand on either side of the Brandenburg Gate and take photos, when you think of all the history that has happened here, it is truly amazing.

Weirdly enough I went to go check this put as soon as I was done with Tiergarten. It was pretty dark at this time but my idea was to go when it was lit up to get a food contrast with the dark. Upon getting...More

The gate is an amazing piece of historic architecture and stands with presence and defiance in the center of Berlin. The surroundings of the gate are beautiful and well worth taking time to wander around. A particular favorite of mine is to walk from the...More

A wonderful and a lovely gate to see right next to US embassy. It's magnificent and without seeing this hate I guess your Berlin trip will not be totally complete. I will return again to Berlin for sure.

Great piece of history to see. Located near quite a few embassy's. We visited and left wondering why so many others were walking towards the gate with German flags etc only to realize that Germany was playing Euro soccer that night and over 200,000 people...More

Must visit at night ! It looks wonderful at night with the light show. If there is musician playing then it's a added bonus.
