I've always been a fan of monumental structures from centuries ago and when I heard about this museum during a visit to Berlin, I thought I had to go. We got there at about 11am and it was already busy. The Altar was closed due...More

This museum is a must. Different than the others. History showed in “pieces” beautifully collected. Love it.

How they have carried, restored and displayed is very well done. Worth the visit. You will be disappointed to see different cultural pieces displayed in Berlin in this museum carried over from other countries, but his is how it is:(

If you only go to one of the museums on the island, I would make it this one. The large-scale displays are stunning.

This is a nice museum situated on museum island. I only visited as I received a museum pass for all the museums on the island. It was interesting and had some nice exhibitions.

Going to the Pergamon museum is something everybody that visit Berlin should do. They have lots of incredible ancient history to show, and, for me, the walls of babylon are just amazing and beautiful. Totally worth seeing.

The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights
like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum

oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence
of some significant transformations, as well. The
gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets
between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given
