We visited this museum on a Sunday, which I suspect is the biggest museum-visiting day in Berlin as the shops don't open on Sundays! It is situated on Museum Island where there are 5 museums but this one appeared to be the most popular, or...More

Impressive reconstructions from Pergamon and Milet. Interesting Middle Eastern artifacts too. I'd recommend buying the 3-day pass that gives entry to all the museums in the area.

Please take audio guide otherwise you won’t understand anything:) Half of museum is closed because of reconstruction (February 2019). It took 1,5 hours to see the whole exposition without reading any information Enjoy!

Great Place..Great Display except that it is undergoing a lengthy construction But I like the size of it.... not too big and overwhelming... It is nice to finish it off by the Panorama

awesome perspective. The detailed museum map shows you exactly where you are, what the main attractions are, so if you are short on time it is a good way to be selective.

Anyone who has visited even couple of museums in their life is not going to be blown away by this museum. Very ordinary at last even quite a bit boring.
