I was so excited thinking I would go and see the famous Unter den Linden! Well, when I finally got there... The street in itself has nothing special. It’s just another boulevard, with souvenir shops. It was a big disappointment to me. Go visit the...More

Not much to see, it's a long road with sparsely spread souvenir shops , a few tourist trap restaurants and not much else.

What a beautiful iconic road leading up to the Brandenburg gate. The trees have a great scent (we were there in July). I would rate it higher if not for the two or three sets of road works spoiling the ambience.

Not sure what all the hype is about this street. It is a wide tree-lined boulevard, linking some of the main tourist attractions in the city. It is named after the Lime Trees which line the grassed pedestrian areas. There are points of interest here...More

I guess we only traveled on this road on foot for a short trip. I remember construction and wondering what we were going to see.

The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights
like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum
Island. The central location makes this one of the
city's most expensive places to live. It is here the
oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence
of some significant transformations, as well. The
gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets
between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given
