The buildings aroung Gendarmenmarkt are very pretty pretty, however there's nothing really exciting going on unless one decides to visit the Opera. The places around this area are on the pricier side.

A must place to visit in Berlin. Beautiful square with lots of beatiful Catedrals surrounding it. The Berlin orchestra building is located there. There are streets shows and nice market.
