I understand the historical value of the monument and I did get impressed by all the art, however the neighborhood is a bit off the way and run down. We stayed there for about 40 minutes and met with at least 3 drunks (in the...More

A variety of anti war and humorous themed art spread over a lengthy section of RELOCATED Berlin Wall. Some pieces attract more tourists for photos than others do can be difficult to get that “perfect” photo memory. Unfortunately being open air it allows vandals to...More

A great insight - although certain parts are understandably filled with tourists, and can be a bit of a "tourist trap" - be prepared to have to wait for a photo and push through the crowds a little.

This piece of wall runs alongside quite a busy main road so we didn't dawdle on a cold day in January. Interesting and thought provoking art, applicable today as well as historically. Definitely worth a visit

This is unmissable...the art on the Berlin Wall is brilliant...satirical, political, humorous, dark, emotional, a bit of everything in fact, and designed by many artists from around the world. Only downside is how popular this piece of German history is, and the oriental photographers en-masse...More

A very moving reminded of the history of the city. Could do with a little more information around the wall about the reminder of the history, but looking at the art on the wall is absolutely phenomenal. It is definitely worth a visit if in...More

When you arrive at Warschauer Strasse in the heart of
the district, you have found one of Berlin’s party
hotspots. At night in Friedrichshain, the energy is
palpable and the streets of this old worker's quarter
are full of street musicians. On one hand, you may
find a bar with international crowds, electronic
music, long lines and panoramic views - on the other,
an outside venue by old train yards featuring decrepit

Hi. Go to the Warschauer Station. Come out, turn left & walk down the hill for about 5 minutes. At the road junction at the bottom you will see the start of the gallery across the road on the right.

It's not greatly lit, but you can still see it quite clearly during the night (if you have decent sight). If you want to check out the full details and/or don't have the best pair of eyes, better to go during the day ;-)
