Myself and my fiance stumbled across this as we were looking for attractions close to our hotel. We're both car fans and it was like car heaven!! We couldn't believe it was free, we would happily have paid to see the cars. There is a restaurant on site which we didn't visit so can't comment on that. It is a... More

even if you are passionate about cars or not, you should definitely go there and see a huge range of modern and old cars in an excellent shape, some of them are also for sale, entrance is free and you have a restaurant indoors as well

It is a place, where you can buy different cars: old cars, sport cars, new luxury cars and so on. But also you can simply spend some time to take a look, if you are a really big fun. This was planned as a surprise for my boyfriend, and he really enjoy this!

Worth of visiting. Only 50m walk from U-bahn + bus. Lot to see also on park places around the place.

We decided to visit on a rainy day to stay away and what a good decision it turned out to be. The place is full of really nice old cars, some are real collectables that you would not really see just anywhere. The cafe on the premises is also nice, well priced and with good service. Amazing!

The Classic Remise doesn't just serve up a delicious brunch (with soy milk for those lactose-free people) but it also has live music and classic (and some super) cars to walk among after you're done your meal.

Staying in Moabit

Neighbourhood Profile
Moabit
You may not realize Moabit is one of the city’s most central neighbourhoods when you arrive at Hauptbahnhof (central station). Surrounded by waterways, Moabit is a quiet island protected from the hustle and bustle of Berlin. The crowds that do gather prefer spending their evenings in cozy restaurants over the party venues offered by other districts. With its beautiful parks, old housing and romantic industrial areas, life has traditionally been relaxed and a bit slower here. But the tone may soon be changing. Reasonable housing costs and proximity to city centre are attracting more young Berliners and international visitors. This interest is encouraging new bars, cafés and nightclubs, making Moabit a candidate for most up-and-coming neighbourhood in the city.
