Absolute top quality beer in this fantastic brewpub. We samples several and they were all really good. If your looking for tasty imaginative brewing - look no further.

Amazing find.small little bar which brews it's own craft beer and still allows you to smoke in bar .I'm a Londoner, the last time I smoked in a bar was 2006 so it added to atmosphere.the smell of smoke is something I dearly miss in the bars as it adds to atmosphere and culture.the beer was magnificent and staff super friendly.A... I love the atmosphere - very pub. A little loud, a little grimy. Not a beer drinker, so cider it is for me. Love the cider - made in house, so always a little different. Not your chain/bottle-fare. Sometimes very dry, sometimes a little sweet. Always different. The customers are international, so English and German is spoken. In summer, most... More

Its very small bar but with nice atmosphere. Beers that are offered are really good and for low price. Its a good place to go with some friends but not a big group due to small inside. They are showing also matches so its a big plus.

Having visited a few other microbreweries in more northern Berlin we took the S-bahn over to Ostcreuz to give this one a quick try. Really liked it, great old pub ambience, bustling but friendly atmosphere and most importantly, great ale! We could only stop in quickly but definitely aim to make a return visit next time we're in town and... More

A range of beers made on site with interesting flavours on friendly staff on hand to talk to. We tried the special beers on the chalkboard. Enjoyed the secret ale at 6.1 percent the most. Wobbled off to a restaurant recommended by the staff - Speisehause.

not much to say but this is a great place to go for a wind-down-beer. Atmosphere is good, staff very attentive and a good selection of beer. You can't go wrong.

I found out about this wonderful craft beer bar years ago when I purchased the superb Beer book Around Berlin In 80 beer's. A superb modern bar,it's not massive but it is cosy with a light and airy interior and nice decor with limited outside seating area, this is certainly one superb bar with some outstanding beer's on offer. The staff... More

Staying in Friedrichshain

Neighbourhood Profile
When you arrive at Warschauer Strasse in the heart of the district, you have found one of Berlin’s party hotspots. At night in Friedrichshain, the energy is palpable and the streets of this old worker's quarter are full of street musicians. On one hand, you may find a bar with international crowds, electronic music, long lines and panoramic views - on the other, an outside venue by old train yards featuring decrepit buildings and live alternative music. No matter your taste, the best way to end a night out in Friedrichshain is sitting by the Spree River at the East side gallery, the longest and best preserved piece of the Berlin Wall, watching the sun rise over the beautiful Oberbaum Bridge.
