Yes it was my mistake that I was hoping there would be something to see even in winter but I hope this review will be helpful to those visiting the place in the colder months. The place is pretty big but gardens are scattered around...More

This place has less fame than standard tourist routes in Berlin but deserves a lot more attention! It is easy to spend a day there, walking through beautifully designed parts representing how gardening traditions vary in different countries of the world. The only downside is...More

If you like the nature/gardens/flowers, the Garten der Welt is a MUST in Berlin! The area is really big, with various small or big gardens, such as Brazilian, Indonesian, English, some from Africa, Renaissance, Japanese, Korean, greenhouse, Oriental - my favorite.... with several snacking/eating points,...More

It's not the best park ever but as it is in the former east of Berlin, where money is tight, they have done a beautiful job. There are gardens that represent China, England, Korea, the Renaissance Period and many others. There is a huge children's...More

First, it is Gaerten (plural), not Garten -- Gardens of the World. When our friends said "We'll have to plan to spend the whole day there," I thought they were kidding. But no, we were there for most of a day and there was still...More

...because of the many different gardens: English with it's maze, Chinese including the exellent Tea Pavillion, Japanese, Corean, a Christian one...they are well locked after, sometimes elegant. And using the cable railway you have a breathtaking overview...

Great park with different areas to feel yourself like on different parts of the world. Only a minus is a bit far away from city center.

The parc consists of several different themed gardens. My personal favorites are the Japanese Garden and the Chinese parc including the tea house. But all the others are very nice. It’s just amazing to have such a beautiful oasis in town.

We spent about 5 hours there, but that included the International Gardening Exhibition and lunch. I think 4 hours will give you enough time to explore the Gardens and sample some of the food on offer. Enjoy
