The website for Olympic Stadium tells lies it was not open at 9.00am as stated. The first Engkish speaking tour was 10.30 and you were not allowed to view the stadium on your own. The stadium famous for the 1936 Nazi Olympics, is beautiful and...More

A visit to the Olympic Stadium in Berlin is a walk through history and a testament to the fact that sports brings people together. A self guided tour here is what we chose to do and there are plenty of historical markers and explanation on...More

Not a great sports fan myself we were taken here by German friends and it was really very interesting. We took a quick trip up the tower which is an excellent way to enjoy the all round view but also to get a great look...More

I wasn't sure what to expect of this attraction if I'm honest. The website underplays the experience. Maybe that's deliberate. We took the guided tour which I recommend. It takes you to places you can't see if you just wander around by yourself. It is...More

It was originally built for the Summer Olympic Games in 1936. Today it's part of Olympiapark in Berlin. Step upstairs and enjoy views with Olympicstadion surroundings by green woods.

An absolutely beautiful Stadium to walk around especially with the rest of the Olympic Park. Cost me 8 Euro to get it which is a great price when you consider other stadiums in Europe. My only problem is that they could let you see more....More

If you ever have the chance to watch an event at the Olympiastadion then go. I got tickets for the Bundesliga match between Herta Berlin v Borussia Dortmund and was a bit sceptical about watching a football match with a running track around the outside...More

Love the stadium, really disappointed with the tour this week. Due to the gymnastics half the stadium was closed off...and they don't tell yoi. Not worth the entrance fee, never got near the pitch or the wall of heroes.

Are there any bars nearby to the stadium which show English football? We're going to watch a Hertha Berlin game on 20th May, and want to catch the second half of the League 1 playoff final afterwards.

We went in March and they had an English tour only once at 11:30am every day. I would definitely say it is worth doing however and would book in advance through the visit Berlin website. I think we paid around €11 each and... More
