Step into the fastest elevator in Europe to begin your journey through the eventful history of one of the world's most significant and popular squares. In just 20 seconds you will be whisked up to the 24th floor, where you can enjoy breathtaking views of Berlin. No other place offers such spectacular views of the city’s most famous landmarks and historic sites! The Brandenburg Gate, the Victory Column and Bellevue Palace are all just a stone’s throw away. The open-air exhibition “Views of Berlin” will show you how this historic site has been completely transformed again and again: from a quiet green to the pulsing heart of a major city, from the height of luxury to a field of rubble, from a no man’s land to the new centre of Berlin. An experience for all the senses – and the same goes for our PANORAMACAFÉ on the 24th floor and spectacular roof terrace on the 25th floor!

Take the elevator to the top and enjoy the magnificant view from Panoramapunkt. At the top you can walk around and see the city of Berlin from a birds view. It is a bit pricy, but as my daughter said: "WOW - just wow" Take the time to enjoy a good german cake or pai at the cafeteria at the... More

I am personally a great fan of restaurants that offer more than just good food so Panoramapunkt ticks quite a few boxes. Located on top of one of Salzburg's main landmarks it makes the meal much more of an experience, especially if you take the funicular up and walk back down. Service has always been friendly and accommodating - food... More

Would recommend as a cheaper and less busy way to see Berlin from above, compared to the TV Tower. I do not think it is necessary to buy tickets online as there was no queue to skip. Additionally, the viewing platform is situated outside and great photos can still be taken through the fence so not restricted by glass. Not... More

Deliberating between a 3 and a 4, as quite a nice hour but not worth going out of your way for. Not particularly well signposted from Potsdamer Platz subway but only a few hundred metres, if that. Lift is v quick and we didn't have to queue for v long. Café pleasant.

The whole Potzdamer Plaz - is an architectural disaster, rebuilt in a hurry after the Unification. Apart from mildly impressive Sony building, there view offered from cramped upper floor is hardly worth the trouble quing.

Not too expensive, very good view over the city. Try the bar, it's a perfect place to have a little break middle of the day.

We didnt find high interest to fernsehtower, and thus were delighted to find this fast track tower just in neighborhood of our hotel (marriott). Elevator was superfast, service ok and views fine. For those who like to see lot in short time.

We chose a beautiful clear sunny day to take the fastest lift I Europe to the top to take in the best 360 degree views of Berlin. All the main sights can be seen from the top and was well worth €6.50 ticket. Would only recommend on a good clear day

The lift is mega-quick - your ears actually pop when you're in it! The views are lovely and the drinks are nice too. The only issue was that the service was very slow.

An extremely fast lift but no views on the way up. Excellent views of the city from 2 floors, went on a very cold day so do wrap up.

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
