Zoo Berlin is home to over 15.000 rare and endangered animals representing more than 1.500 species and subspecies. It is the most speciose zoo worldwide. Zoo Berlin is located in heart of Berlin, opposite to the train station Zoologischer Garten. The tasks our zoos of today are faced with are many and diverse. And there is more than one reason to keep animals. Since 1844 visitors to Zoo Berlin can relax and learn. Comparable with a living, green oasis the zoo today lies directly at the heart of the city. Here you can relax and learn new facts about the most diverse zoological subjects as your interest takes you.

Very small and doesn't take much time to look around, even if you stop and watch a lot. Enclosures are big enough. We enjoyed watching the sloth bear play. Would have paid for the aquarium if we realised it would only take 2hrs round the...More

Really good zoo in the heart of Berlin, if you have a Welcomecard, then you save 20-25% on the already reasonable price. It's easy to get to, being next to its own station.

It will be a looooong day so wear comfy shoes. Bring water and something to eat with you cause it's a bit expensive inside. With 21 euros per person you can visit both the zoo park and the aquarium building. Half the zoo sector is...More

Adults for Zoo only €15.50 (€21 for aquarium access too) If you have the Berlin Welcome Card I believe there is a discount but not sure how much. This is a great zoo and worth a visit. Enjoy.
