The narrow treelined streets of Friedrichshain brings memories of Paris. It's a charming hood with lots of interesting shops and restaurants.

Don't go there if you are tourists. Except the East Side Gallery there is nothing there. Focus on Mitte and Postdamer Platz and maybe Charlottenbourg.

Friedrichshain is a great are of Berlin, especially for nightlife. The shopping is very good too. It's well worth a visit.
