We did not have time to go inside the Memorial, but the outside certainly brings the movie Valkyrie to life. Wish we had more time to see the rest of the memorial. I really want to pay huge respect to those who resisted, but Stauffenberg...More

This museum is a true find for anyone interested in history and the truth about those who resisted Nazi rule in Germany. Although at times it may feel more like an academic experience and the staff could be more engaging, go a bit off the...More

This museum was really fascinating. My only complaint is that they tend to pack much information packed into one small exhibit. I wish it was more spread out and more visual. That would make it easier to take in and digest. The best done area...More

This was an amazing place for me to see. I was on a Last Days of WWII walking tour and as we walked along Stauffenbergstrasse the significance of the name suddenly dawned on me. We walked on to the still standing building where the 1944...More

Having visited Berlin a few times, this was the first time I had occasion to visit the resistance memorial. I have to say it is an excellent memorial, full of thought provoking and moving stories, it is well laid out, allowing visitors time to soak...More

It felt odd standing in the backyard where Stauffenberg, Beck and the others were executed. I had been looking for Bendlerstrasse; small wonder I did not find it, when it has been renamed Stauffenbergstrasse! So I stumbled over the place by coincidence while following the...More

A sobering experience, which left me hoping that had I been in the same position I might too have been brave enough to stand up to the evil forces of the Nazi regime. In a totally low key setting, which made it all the more...More

A really interesting look at the German resistance effort during the war - lots of personal stories of incredible sacrifice. Museum is free to get in with heaps of information. Very sensitively done & moving.

We actually felt overwhelmed by the information here. This was the last museum we went into after several days in Berlin, and I think we had seen so many museums along the same lines that it was starting to get repetitive. It is very well...More

Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through
the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which
lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood.
Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city:
upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades
and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone
streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through
little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop
