We were wandering around the lovely Nikolaiviertal District when we came across this nice statue. Surprised to find a statue of St George and the dragon in Berlin.

one of many sculptures dotted around this wonderful city. We stumbled across it whilst walking along the side of the River Spree. The detail is good and well worth a look. Along this walk there is a good selection of bars, pubs and restaurants.

Walking around the nikolaiviertel we came across the statue on the side if the river surrounded by colourful flower beds. The statue is quite dramatic and the detail is well done.
