Many restored houses border Marketplace. Other things to see: Town hall, the statue of the Town Musicians, statue of Roland, the cathedral... so many things to see and visit.

shop as well. Marktplatz- Bremen's Heart- It's the center of the city with all its major attractions such as the Town Hall and the St. Peter's Cathedral. You can also find here the "Bremen's Musician" statue, Roland statue and more.

Also very well restored after WWII. Nice place to walk through and to sit for coffee or drinks. Interesting markets every week.

I recommend at least walking through this area and seeing all the sites. There's always a local market or something special going on about 2 weeks a month. Good place to take groups, grab some food or beverages and take some nice pictures.

You can see here many young artist,painters and musicians .... Take a walk thru "Golden Gate", see small street with Tavern an Boutiques... or admire the great statues, the cathedral and the fountains... just great time in Bremen....
