The weather was very cold outside as we walked from our hotel. The Ratskeller is a historic beautifully preserved restaurant underneath the Town Hall. The atmosphere as other people have mentioned is very nice and on the night we were there, it was definitely not noisy. There are other function rooms as well adjacent to the main restaurant. The food... More

A very old (since 1405) historic restaurant. Nice to sit outside and watch the world go by in the square opposite over a beer. Eat outside or alternatively in the lovely and traditional cellar restaurant. Really good local menu. Hearty and tasty.

We had dinner in this Kneipe. Food is really good, not only meat but also fresh fish. Atmosphere is nice and not noisy as in some breweries. Prices are set in a good level. Guys managing the business are kind. Without any doubt, I will go back in my next trip to Bremen.

One of the oldest buildings downtown, the cellar of the Rathaus in Bremen preserves a lot of history, offering good food in a nice atmosphere. Service is also very good and when you arrive ask for a table in one of the wine barrels.

The place is very beautiful and breath-taking from history point of view, the service is very good too. The food itself was not superb, but very solid and with "traditional german choices". Very well worth a visit.

Great Food! This restaurant has a great selection of different dishes. Good hearty food and plenty of drinks and wine to choose from. Cozy atmosphere. The waiter was very attentive and friendly. Would go again!

At a recent conference in Bremen, our group held a dinner for 250 in the Ratskeller Celler. Wow! It was absolutely gorgeous! Our guests enjoyed a huge buffet of beautiful and deliscious foods. Good food. Good service. Good setting. Don't miss it.

We enjoyed our one visit and it's an experience not to be missed. It was a bit more sophisticated and subdued that we expected. As mentioned there are tables and benches in the cellar as well as a few smaller booths. I believe there are guided tours on certain afternoons that take you through the cellar tunnels were many many... More
