This historic church was impressive, but the interior seemed sanitized. Built as a Catholic cathedral, it was converted in the 16th century for use by the Lutheran congregation. There could have been more in english or german which conveyed this essential part of its history.

An impressive Romanesque Cathedral with large twin towers. There are sandstone bad-reliefs at the back. I didn’t go to the crypt but believe that would have been interesting too.

Bremen's gorgeous and majestic cathedral has to be the must see place in Bremen.Every visitor should go in and admire this stunning building and it's free.

It's really attractive very elegant with it's Westwerk and the warm colour of the bricks. The interior is eye-catching and majestic. The atmosphere is calm and leads to the attitude of praying
