Potsdam is famous for two reasons: one is that it was the home and the retreat of the various Kings and Emperors who ruled Prussia and Germany. Frederick the Great’s palace of Sanssoucci and his grave are here for example. Secondly another palace in Potsdam...More

I just returned from Berlin, and made a point to write this review to stop this tour group from further cheating non German speaking tourist. The leaflet of this tour clearly advertises it being an English friendly tour. Its promotion tactics are to catch tourists...More

We found this to be really good. Audio in English could be better but was ok. English speakers have to sit downstairs where headphones are fitted, would suggest installing them upstairs also as I would prefer to travel upstairs and get better view. Guide was...More

We went to beautiful Potsdam for the day from Berlin - a very easy and quick journey on the train. We bought this city tour from the official tourist information office in Potsdam railway station. They told us the live commentary was in both German...More

We arrived at the bus for the tour and were very rudely TOLD where to sit on the bus! We were led to believe this tour was suitable for English speaking travellers .... we tuned into an English speaking audio guide where upon the German...More

So misleading. There is no tour in English, the tour guide speaks in German and then translates every 5 minutes some parts which are completely irrelevant. She mentions some stuff about price or just says on your right side there is a beuatiful building -...More

They promised English tour. They were partly correct. But misleading. While on the bus, non German speaking wear headphones for audio guide. However, the commentaries were horrible. Each site was given a few sentences. Sometimes they only gave the name (Botanical Garden) with no description...More

First the good things: The bus took us round most of Potsdam which we would not have seen otherwise and the Audio guide on the bus via headphones was good and informative. However, the bad things: When we stopped off at the 3 places the...More

I was going to leave later in the afternoon and didn’t have time to do a leisurely exploration of Potsdam. This was perfect. There were four of us in the tour who didn’t understand German but the guide took his time to explain everything and...More

They catch us in the Potsdam Main Train Station, promising live guide in English, with critics for the competition. They didn't tell us that on Mondays ALL museums are closed and what attractions are under renovations. We had only few minutes to look around 3...More

I’m pretty much just echoing everything I’ve read after taking this horrible bus tour. The bus is ancient, as is the headset system used to listen to the commentary (because live commentary is in German, which of course we were not informed of). They managed...More

We chose the Kaiser Tour because it happened to be just leaving and we didn't want to wait, but we weren't disappointed. Non-Germans have headsets with recorded commentary while the bus is travelling, but at the stops (New Palace, Sanssouci, Cecilienhof; exteriors only) the tour...More
