We found this interior of the city hall to be very interesting - lots of people and lot's going on on a Sunday afternoon

I would not put this building at the top of my list when in Hamburg but since we were there on Sunday late afternoon there were not a lot of places open and this was. The square... read more

White. White. White. This building is very white. I think it's the favorite for weddings. It's open to explore it fom inside, but you cannot go in every room since it is in use. From inside it pretends to be bigger than from outside. Toilets are free... One thing is very new and amazing. Long awaited. The canteen is open... More

I would not put this building at the top of my list when in Hamburg but since we were there on Sunday late afternoon there were not a lot of places open and this was. The square in front was busy with mimes and groups of people - many tourists. There are some interesting exhibits throughout the ground floor and... More

The cover photo shown for the rathaus confused me and is slightly deceptive because it is a photo of the interior courtyard - not the grand exterior, which is what I was expecting to see! This is a fabulous-looking, large rathaus, with a large plaza in the front. You can visit the inside, which is a grand main hall. I... More

It is a magnificent building, but nothing more. I haven't been inside, just passed it, but I don't feel like it is very interesting place to go n Hamburg, there are so many more places to go.

The place is very old and you can feel and see the history it was born in, and been through. The tour fee is very cheap, although the tour guide had a very heavy accent. It challanged me and I missed some parts of the things she was telling but it wasn't totally nonsense.

More Room inside like the Buckingham Palace with wonderful ornaments on the roof, made of wood. Needs a least 2 hour for a guided tour to see all the famopus room.
