Who would have though a museum on the history of Customs could be so interesting. It starts with tax collection in Roman times and comes right up to date with ways of smuggling used today. It's quite small but very cheap to get in and...More

We missed the chocolate museum but the Zollmuseum was a nice break on our walk to the Miniatureworld. A lot of nice information and a good opportunity to talk about international trade with my two daughters (7 and 9 years old). Also a very cheap...More

We came across this small compact museum whilst walking from the city centre back to our cruise ship. This did mean that our time was a little restricted but it was still possible to view all the exhibits relating to the history of the German...More

Definitely worth a visit! They only charge €2 and it's free now because they are undergoing some renovation right now. Quite educational.

Interesting exhibitions about customs today and in the past. Friendly English speaking staff and only €6 for 3 adults and two kids. This included entrance to the customs ship that's on display just outside the museum as well.

We stumbled across this museum in the warehouse district. At EUR 2 entry it is great value for about an hour of your time. Disappointing that only some of the exhibits are in english - but it does give you a good history of how...More
