This old perfectly restored building is something to see. It is immense and the architecture is fabulous. The building is still the meeting site of the governing councils of Hamburg and the State. Because of this, the tour is limited to a few public rooms....More

Great place to go through and to spend a little time exploring the architecture and little corners of the building.

Beautiful old building with nice canal nearby with swans. There is a lovely statue in the courtyard.

We were surprised that it was free to enter this beautiful building that they use as a town hall. The inside and outside is just stunning the outside patio has a beautiful fountain that's a must see.

Enjoy viewing the structures and check out the people. Have a light snack while sitting on the steps.

A few nice displays inside but nothing to hold the attention for more than a few minutes. Statues and some interesting architecture apparently rebuilt to the original design after the second world war.

Didn't think much of the exterior but am impressed by the beautiful interior of the town hall. The fountain area is my favorite.

There are so many that visit and take some pictures of the front promonade and then walk away. The added beauty of this Town Hall is inside. Make your way into the building and view the incredible architecture and art.
