the stuffed animals were a bit much.. as well as the human development section.. ( I really hope that was fake..) Kids should have fun... and the displays lack ENGLISH.. so you dont know what you're looking at.. Other than that.. it was a propper...More

Most of the items in the dinosaur section were replicas of things in other museum. This was a little disappointing. Large sections of stuffed animals also god a bit boring. The bones of "Lucy" (which I believe were original) were impressive.

My two sons, aged 11 and 13, and I simply loved this place! It has a slightly old fashioned vibe about it, but in the best possible way. The dinosaurs are impressive and the stuffed animals were a lot of fun and especially the volcano...More

This museum attracted me because of the Lucy replica they have on display. After seeing that, the only way to describe it is a large taxidermy hall. Many, many stuffed animals of many kinds, all in static displays. There are dinosaur bones reassembled in a...More

The museum is great for families with small children, even if it takes quite some time to go through all areas. It has a great collection and manages to keeps children interested. You can get around with English in all areas of the museum.

Nice and big museum with really nice installations. Most of the text (90%) were only in German, so I didn’t really get that much out of the visit. The dinosaur bones and the stuffed birds were really nice. The mineral collection was nice also.
