Very moving memorial of the second world war. They haven't restored it specifically for this purpose. Well worth the visit if in the centre of the city.

Located in the center of Hannover, this is not a fancy place but ruins of the Aegidienkirche. Standing in the ruins, there is a special atmosphere to this place.

A gloomy reminder of the consequences of WAR. We stopped by here on the red thread walking tour. It was mildly interesting to read the plaques and memorials to the victims of the war and see a bell presented by Hiroshima city Quite moving really

A neat historical stop on your visit to see a preservation of the consequences of war. So sad that this ancient building was bombed.

A nice church, different than the rest because it has no roof, in regard of 2nd world war bombs. Free access and close to the center

This is a war relic and definitely worth to visit. It serves a constant reminder on what war could do, could destroy. Within walking distance from Hannover HBF and worth a visit if you could spare the time.

A VERY clinical church. Not conducive to prayer. No candles available, and no prayer offerings. Well located and worth visiting if you have spare time.
