In a city that does not lack of forests an parks, surely one of the nicest places, with a well maintained network of paved paths. Games for kids are equally well maintained, although you have to beware of dog "bombs. Very popular among runners and joggers,...More

Great for walking and beautiful too, has games for kids and wide open spaces to run, just bring a nice pair of comfortable shoes because if not your feet will hurt

Nice city forest for running, cycling or taking your dog for a walk. I prefer the part behind the zoo because it is the most " wild" bit without all the logging going on in the more popular parts.

Great park to run in. Lots of bike and running paths, plus grassy meadows for sunbathing. There are playgrounds for kids, plus a lovely cafe near the music school.

Take a bicycle and the day off. Stop at two or three beer gardens. And experience Germany's most sustainable city.

The forest is absolutely huge. It is a perfect place to go running or biking or even for a walk. There are also a few nice bars/restaurants serving beer and bratwurst inside the forest.

I grew up near the Eilenriede and every time I get back to Hannover I stroll through that beautiful City Park! It's just as beautiful as Central Park in New York! I have so many found memories of the Eilenriede!!
