Me and my 20-year-old engineer daughter visited the Phaeno for the morning. We are English speakers and were pleasantly surprised that about 85 % of the exhibits has Engish translations below the German. This is a VERY hands-on, interactive museum. We got there early and saw a bunch before the school groups started to enter. It got a little chaotic... More

Without a doubt, the Phaeno is the best science, hands-on Museum that I have ever experienced. The place is very large, and it requires a full day or multiple trips to really experience all of the exhibits. Almost all of the exhibits are hands on and interactive. My children love this place. Note-children under the Age of 6 will need... More

We went with 2 children aged 12 and 9 and they were not bored once - in fact they said it was fantastic. Plenty to see and do, with virtually every exhibit being hands on and interactive. Imaginative building for the setting, so new displays to entertain around every corner. The displays are separated into categories such as Light, Technology,... More

We went there after picking up the new car at Autostadt as a way to motivate the kids 5 and 7), thinking that a few hours would be enough. Well, after three hours we had only seen about half of it and we (kids and parents!) could have easily spent three more!

On hearing about Phaeno, we weren't quite sure what to expect. On arriving, we saw many kids and thought that this is a children's venue. How wrong we were. Once you are inside everything is very hands on. In a short time, one is participating in building an arch, or hitting the drum of the fortex cannon. Yes there are... More

An extremely interesting day out for all ages. Lots of scientific experiments to do. All clearly explained in German and English. Fun for all ages. Well worth regular visits. Kids (and adults) are entertained all day.

What attracted me to the Phaeno Science Center is it's one of the works of famed architect Zaha Hadid. It's fitting that it's situated across the Autostadt. Impressive really. And yes, its entertaining and informative as well inside.

Great full day entertainment for everyone! Huge, well organized, friendly stuff. Perfect for rainy weather but not only. Definitely best place in Wolfsburg.
