One of our reasons for going to Stralsund was to see the magnificent rathaus but, as of May 15th, it was completely covered up, I assume for restoration. I don't know when it will be visible again, but perhaps you should check if you are...More

Nice gothic building in the middle of a city, but it was really hard to find a place for parking... the parking prices in this city are high - 2 euros for 1 hour and than 2 euros for half and hour. Well, so 6...More

I only viewed this from the outside but it forms a large part of the pretty square which also has a gorgeous water feature. It mimics the sound of waves on the sea. The Rathaus looked really pretty with the night sky behind it

Well preserved and an interesting arcade inside makes this one of Stralsunds absolutely best sights. It's possible to go down in the basement as well.

Wonderful building. The symbol of Stralsund. Don't miss the chance to have a sit in a cafè in the Old Market and enjoy the view.

Great facade that dominates the square. Medievel market when we visited really made the whole thing. Lubeck is nice but Stralsund matches it without the tourists. If you need somewhere to stay campsite on the other side of the bridge on Rugen fits the bill...More
