An excellent experience! We went four friends to try a German spa and sauna. We have got an unforgettable visit. Everything was well organized, even the shelf for the glasses at the sauna entrance. There is a good restaurant, a convenient locker - no need for a lock or a key, so you can bring all your stuff and wallets... More

My partner and I visited this spa as a breather from the Christmas markets in Cologne. It was a fantastically easygoing pace and I deeply regret not booking a massage. We relaxed in the hot tubs with a pint of beer and glass of wine and left feeling refreshed and unwound. Visitors can rent a bathrobe, towel and thongs, and... More

Neptunbad is the perfect place to decompress during the gloomy weather days of November. Wonderful saunas, cooling pools, outdoor areas, completely quiet "nap areas" and an excellent restaurant to boot. Best to bring your own bathrobe, towel and bath slippers (save around 10 euro). After 4 hours you will feel completely relaxed and de-stressed).

Never been in such place, but it was worth it and something that you don't experience in usual spa. Great service, a lot of saunas and relaxation procedures. Actually, we should have wait a little bit to enter this place because of a lot visitors, and a tasty cup of tea was offered to us. Thanks for the great time... More

Fantastic wellness oasis in the middle of cologne. Several different saunas and relax areas in Japanese style imbedded in an old art nouveau style building. Great massage and cosmetic service. Recommendation: 70 min relaxation massage Important for tourists: all textile free! You can hire towels, thongs and bathrobes.

What makes Neptunbad to one of our favourite sauna places is the big indoor pool with its glass-roof so you can watch the stars while swimming naked, the ancient Roman area with it's historical pool where you can here classic music or whale singing as long as your ears are underwater and the huge steambathing area for free chocolate peelings.... I could recommend you to spend a few hours enjoying massage treatments there. I got a fantastic 90 min Lomi Lomi by a male massageur. But the facial treatment was pretty lousy. The lady who performed the facial treatment (cleaning/massage and mask) was young and unpatient. Only the massage worth the money.

I was a bit unsure about doing this when my other half suggested it. I enjoy new experiences so I thought I would keep an open mind and go with it! I read the reviews before we set off and it seemed like we might just survive. We loved it. You may feel a little intimidated when you arrive as... More

I've read the reviews (like you're probably doing) and wondering if an all nude spa is worth a visit. IT IS! The staff at the desk is very helpful and can speak some English. They will rent you a towel, bathrobe and sell you slippers. After that, you head to the locker room, take off all your clothes, but on... More

This is the first proper sauna I have been to. My friend suggested we go. I'm so glad I did. I'm not used to openly walking around naked so it was a bit of a shock for me. It did take some getting used to. The facilities are so clean. There are lying couches beside the main pool and on... More
