I visited the Zoo on a cold but sunny morning in December. The Zoo is larger than you would expect for a city zoo and the enclosures were good sizes but offered great views of the animals. I was particular impressed with the elephant enclosure which was huge and very modern and clearly a lot of money and detail has... More

I had 2 vouchers from Groupon, each for 10.90 Euro. My bf and I enjoyed very much but generally I think the ticket price is expensive and I suggest to visit there if you have such voucher.

There is an excellent selection of animals and they all look happy and have large enclosures. Another plus point is the excellent transport links to... More

Girlfriend was being all womanly and girly as she loves animals. Great fun aquarium isn't much of an aquarium and the insects upstairs are horifying. Felt bad cuz we saw a lonely lion in a cage while the lioness were walking around freely.

This Zoo is interesting in its layout and take you past the wild cats to the rain forest, the elephant house, monkey houses, indoor bird houses and past the big game such as rhinos, giraffe and wildebeest. One of strangest animals to be seen was the huge anteater. Throughout the complex are streams and ponds with beautiful birds. The aquarium... More

Visited on New Year's Day and spent the whole day here, in fact we had to be kicked out at closing time - what a truly wonderful zoo! Easy to get to using public transport from the centre of Cologne, and easy to navigate around once inside. This zoo has every animal you could want to see, and they all... More
