This museum houses many artifacts from the time when Romans ruled this area. The two main items (the large tomb and mosaic floor) are actually visible from outside through a large window but its worth paying to get inside too and look at the collection...More

So we wanted to do something cultural. For 6,5 euro you get a lot to see. Beautiful statues , amazing jewels and a lovely mosaic . Worth the visit !

It was amazing to know that Cologne was a relevant city of the Roman empire. The Roman-German museum brings detais of this hystory which make you understand some old monuments in the city and better understand Roman cultural aspects

Important floor mosaics well preserved. Many fine work of art and craftmanship as well preserved tombs were the source of many of the finds.

Went to this museum on a recent visit to Cologne, it is full a Roman artifacts and information about the Romans time in Cologne. It is a must for anyone interested in the Roman Empire.
