This must be one of the best collections of Roman glass anywhere, with many beautiful and well-preserved items. Also very fine jewellery from as far afield as the Black Sea.

Shattered roman pots, oil lamps, pieces of stone axes. If you've been to any museum of this era, you've seen all of this before.

Superb museum, well designed, well laid out, not crammed with artefacts which are displayed so that they can be seen and appreciated. Fine sculptures and gravestones, excellent Frankish material. Imaginative displays. Airy and spacious. No cafe, but as there is one in the adjacent Museum...More

This is a great place, with intact mosaics found during WWII and wonderful collections. It's right next to the Dom, so it's hard to miss!

I agree with the review stating there wasn't much organization. There were a lot of interesting items and it wasn't too expensive to go in so it was a fun experience but not really meaningful.

The museum stands next to the cathedral so handy to visit. It has outstanding collection of glass and jewellery. The main attraction is the mosaic and funeral monument. Save your money as this can be seen from the outside.
