It is the perfect museum to visit when you have 1.5-2h. The collection is not that big but still remains a good selection of different cultures, it is quite modern and the way some things are displayed is really interesting (even fun?). For both adults...More

The nicest part of the museum, one can see for free by just entering the building, namely the Indonesian house, which is really nice. The museum houses a collection of religious artefacts and art from different cultures and different continents. The quality of the collection...More

This was not quite what I expected, as it's an ethnography museum I expected it more to be about the history of Cologne through the ages. However it's more a collection of religious artefacts from different religions. It was still interesting though

This museum displays a nice collection of cultural items, collected from around the world. Many items go back a few centuries. I think it combines well with the Schnütgen museum in the same building.

A magic place where you walk through continents, civilisation and crafted art work. Absolute must and even nice with children.

A fine museum which is almost a work of art itself in its presentation. It truly broadens the mind (if the language and focus a little too overly PC) and is filled with a wonderfully varied collection of items and, I presume due to Germany's...More
