Very nice little market. Amazing array of stalls with excellent quality meats, vegetables, cheeses, flowers ..... etc. All looks fantastic. Many small stalls with a variety of foods. Had a German lunch of bratwurst and chips, simple, cheap and very nice.

I loved walking around Carlsplatz looking at the beautiful flowers, great produce and happy people. It's not too chaotic or big like other markets in other cities, so the senses stay invigorated rather than drained. I hate to say, and probably shouldn't that because I had been to a regular produce store the day before and paid about half for... More

It is a nice and clean market, with great food. You can find there a lot of kinds of food and very nice stores. The prices are reasonable, and the sellers are ready to help you.

Here is another must in Düsseldorf . You Should be early in the day to see the Düsseldorfs women preparing / doing the buying for the daily meals for their families

Very nice and organised market place From flowers to souvenir to food to local activity, you can feel the vibrant from this market. Be there early so you catch the bet quality of food. Location very convenient, just a meter out from U bahn and you will see I spend half day there. Will surely come back

If you are seeking to savour truly delicious German sausages, try visiting the Berliner Ecke am Carlsplatz stall and you won't be disappointed. I tried their mixed pork / smoked beef sausage with spicy curry sauce, onions and French fries smothered in Ketchup and believe me it was absolutely delicious and most suited to bone warming on this chilly day.... You can't do the Saturday shopping spree in Duesseldorf without a visit to the Market on Carlsplatz. There is all the gluten free and certified organic fresh produce you can wish for - I counted 18 different types of potatoes at one stand. Don't forget to buy a hand made toothbrush at the brush-maker's stand. Or sit down for an... More

If you are shopping along Konigsallee, then its a quick 10min or less walk to the market. You will find some incredible cheeses and meats as well as fruits and vegetables. There are maybe 40 vendors in the market.

This market is not just for tourists, locals use this on a daily basis. You can find everything from fish to flowers here. It takes up the entire platz, has several eateries around it, and is definitely worth a stop if are going past
