It's commendable for the people of Münster to decide to reconstruct the Prinzipalmarkt as it was before WWII. You can spend an afternoon exploring the old city center. St. Paul Cathedral and St. Lambert Church is just nearby, as well as lots of pubs and restaurants to dine in.

It`s a headstone road and to the left and right along the road are those houses kept in this old archtitecture style. This road has it`s own special atmosphere. In the summer you can sit outside for a coffee. In winter time all the houses are decorated with lights in the windows. In the back is the church where you... More

I feel like i went back to the renaissance era when I'm here. I love the old buildings, the old carts which are still used in this area. There's a cafe in this area which is also nice to have a coffee or tea and have a chitchat with friends when you can also enjoy the music played by the... More

This is a lovely twice weekly market, right outside the cathedral. Mainly food and flowers (gorgeous posies to buy) with plenty of food samples to try. Buy cheeses, bread and cold meats to make up a picnic. Well worth a visit.

This is the most happening place of Muenster. The streets are abuzz with people. There are shops on both sides, and they have excellent displays. Though, things are a bit expensive but it is worthwhile spending time here. This is built as the City Centre and the major things here to see is the Beautiful architecture of the buildings and... This is a nice place where you can sit watch the people go along and if the weather permits have a nice drink outside. The architecture is quite nice with the church looming in the background and around the place you find good shopping opportunities. But: The drinks on this place are expensive, the service not so good (as can... More

The Prinzipalmarkt in the center of Muenster is a street with historical buildings; a street with terrific porticos and the atmosphere of a real "Altstadt". The Prinzipalmarkt is brimming with restaurants and shops and here you get the ambiance of Muenster and forget that on a hop-skip-jump distance are the big department stores and the Arkaden shopping mall. (Also not... More

Very nice place to spend the day in. Plenty of high level retail shops on both sides of the street. Walk a further 200m and you will reach all the high street retailers. If you want a break there are cafes aligned along the prinzipalmarkt which give you the chance to relax and soak up the sun during the summer... More
