Beautifully restored.

I looked at old photos of this area from 1945 and it is incredible how the Vier Turme have been lovingly restored. Many cities in the world could take a page out of Germany's book... read more

Such a cool old area. It's worth stopping in Koblenz just to see these four corners. The facades are absolutely beautiful. A lot of history here, we don't get to see this in the states.

I looked at old photos of this area from 1945 and it is incredible how the Vier Turme have been lovingly restored. Many cities in the world could take a page out of Germany's book for their civil pride and care for their traditional architecture. I am from a Scottish city which has no civil pride, Aberdeen, and this sort... More

In my opinion this is one of the many lovely old buildings in the Altstadt. If you want to see a lovely building stop and see this one.

An interesting building dating to the 17th century that has four small towers (or side towers I might say). It adds much to the ambience of the old quarter with its narrow streets.

A busy crossroads which we came across quite by chance. Four interesting corners of buildings, but sat cheek by jowl with very modern and ugly architecture. Lots of really ugly street furniture and other clutter spoilt the potential of this charming place.

This neighborhood was really cool. Narrow streets with old buildings. I got a number of great picturesque photos here.

Old ones for people from a young America! Those building are beautiful architecture standing in angle, you cannot miss them and you cannot miss the chance to take a shot of it

Not far from several squares and in the middle of great shopping, this interesting corner lends itself to photography and cuteness.

The four houses with ornate corner towers were built in 1608 and after being damaged in 1688 rebuilt between 1689-1692 and its Bay window renewed, probably according to plan of Johann Christoph Sebastianis. Each of the houses are named: "Zu Sankt Petrus" (1691), "Zum Grünen Baum" (1692) and "Hauptwache" (1690, corner House Marktstraße/Plan). Originally it were three-storey houses with wooden... More
