We had a two hour visit to the museum and founds lots of interesting exhibits of very high quality. The staff demonstration of operating the old printing press was particularly good.

My grandfather was a Master Printer and as a child I spent time in his workshop, so this museum had an extra resonance for me. However, if you are interested in books and their production then this is superb. The collections and explanations are first...More

Interesting to see how the old printing press worked. Museum has item from Asia where printing started. Very nicely done. Our only issue was our guide who was kind of a jerk.

We spent about 3 hours here exploring, partially with English audioguides, partly with reading (limited) English signs. We were disappointed that the printing press demonstration was only given in German. The 20 minute movie was a great overview, and is presented in alternating languages. Be...More

Interesting and didactic museum. See how the mobile type may be used and admire the first impressed bibles.
