Great views

Here's where the best views of Dresden are across the river. Simply amazing facade to the city here.

This is where Bernardo Canaletto stood to paint his famous panoramic view of Dresden, and it still looks much the same today. Impossible to resist taking several photos when standing in this spot.

A very beautiful view of Dresden, had to take my photo of the city as well. It was so interesting to compare the artists view and the view now. You can identify so many places.

A gorgeous view of the glory of dresden very much in the Canelletto style . Representative paintings of this view are shown in the Cosel Pals restaurant also. Do go and take a picture.

An artist view of Dresden. This is a must do for those that appreciate art. Exact spot where Canaletto painted. See Dresden from the artist point of view.

Fantastic on a sunny day but most interesting in any weather - especially if you like Canaletto paintings.
