We bought a weekly Dresden travel ticket which included both the Schwebahn and the Steilbahn. It was a short ride up to the top of the hill on the dangling cable car. At the top there are some great views of Dresden and a small...More

The cable way is a short ride that takes you to a good lookout point. The ride is very slow and quite expensive compared to other public transport.

Nice sightseeing, good to take cabin up and walk down following the yellow line to look around. Very good café and point of view in the upper station!

The tickets were not too expensive, but this is definitely worth it! Get away from the noise of the city and experience Dresden from high above it all. I definitely recommend. The ride is only 5-10 minutes, but the view is amazing.
