We visited this during the Christmas markets and it provided a great backdrop to the festival. Interesting this year given the 500 year celebration of the reformation.

We celebrate the 500th anniversary of the Reformation this year. In Dresden, the monument to Martin Luther occupies a very prominent spot in Neumarkt Square, in front of the Frauenkirche. Wonderful reminder of this figure and his place in history.
